Attorney at Law
Professional info
Mr. Gindy’s considerable litigation experience covers representation of software developers. These creators have been besieged by hacking of their work product. He has successfully represented developers in more than 200 cases in litigation and in non-litigation seeking resolution of these kinds of claims. Overwhelmingly, the developers have been compensated for their losses to computer pirates. Mr. Gindy has expertise not only in copyright infringement, but also in circumvention of technical measures and in digital rights management.
He also regularly counsels clients in technology transactions, including the licensing of both trademark and copyright between buyers and sellers. Formerly, he was a partner in the Intellectual Property department of Lewis, Brisbois, Bisgaard & Smith LLP. He has written extensively on trademark and copyright issues and has been called upon as an ad hoc lecturer at Cal State Long Beach.
